FirstStep Digital SMCC:

For this project we were given an office space in Clockwise Offices to design for any small business and then we presented in front of people who currently work at Clockwise – to see what we came up with. The existing layout of the office we couldn’t change when designing the interior, so when I first seen the office space, the open plan layout made me want to design for a co-working office. I came up with an office space for social media content creators to help and provide them with space to film, photography and set up meetings with brands. The office space would work around hot desks, so on different days you would share your space or desk with another creator, and could rent out the film space when you needed to shoot. Social media is a big part of our lives and especially people who this is their full time job, so they are constantly on their laptop or phone. I designed this office space to be a peaceful and mindful place for them to work and to have an area in the office where you take a break from social media when you need to. This co-working office space is also to help them collaborate with each other and to be a place that separates from them currently working at home.
