Ning Nang Nong:

This project in Year 2 was a bit different and we had to design a game. The main theme was play and I wanted to create a game for children. This is an installation game based on the nonsense poem ‘On the Ning Nang Long’, by Spike Milligan. It is temporary and can be placed anywhere e.g. schools, museums, hospitals or even on the street. It is a journey throughout the poem for children but also for adults who want a break from the busy world around them, a chance to take a step back into childhood. It will have six stops throughout the journey based on titles in the nonsense poem and at each stop there will be games. It’s not about winning something at the end of the journey, just a time to break away from the real world into your fantasy world!
