Glasgow Canvas:

This was a project that we couldn’t complete in University, due to COVID, but I loved the brief and wanted to finish it over lockdown. We were given a space on Wilson Street and had the choice to design the interior for any brand or come up with our own. So, I created a space for young people who are creates but don’t have a place to go to learn or have the equipment to draw and paint. Everyday young people that want to express who they are and want to be seen, are labelled as vandals. But they have just never had a place to develop their skills and further them into design, even into jobs. This is want this space is, it is a base to improve their talent, have access to equipment and even a place to talk. To make people aware of this space – completed artworks will be placed around the city for everyone to see.
